Charleston Styled Shoot | Old Santee Canal State Park

The day finally came that Hannah and I had been planning for! Our Charleston Styled Shoot was coming together and we were oh so excited. Hannah reached out to me back in late February to plan a styled shoot. She had a vision of an ‘old Charleston’ theme and I ran with it! Contacting vendors that matched our look perfectly, and reaching out to my middle school friend to have her and her fiancé model for us, our excitement grew even more!

The day came and I met Hannah at Old Santee Canal State Park to start detail shots and get hair and makeup done! Jessika and Caleb started getting ready as Hannah and I laid out the stunning details from our vendors. Gold Creations had the most gorgeous jewelry and with our stationary from SAM & Co. Calligraphy was breathtaking.

After shooting our detail shots, the rain began and we rolled with the weather moving furniture around and working our way around the house on the property to stick to our timeline! Charleston weather is a little crazy and changes every second! The weather cleared up a little and we headed back out into the grass!

Jessika and Caleb were so laid back and we absolutely LOVED working with them both. Their love is so evident and fun and oh so beautiful. I’ve known Jessika since middle school and we parted ways in high school when she transferred. Later on in high school, I ended up transferring to the same school she was at, which is where she met Caleb!! Caleb and I had a couple of classes together so it was like a little reunion! Caleb and Jessika are looking to get married (for real this time) next year and I can only imagine how gorgeous she will be on her actual wedding day!
